Thought I would give you an update about Prowein.
The Wine Australia set-up and execution by its whole team was the best ever. The stand was great and the feeling among exhibitors was positive and collegial. The fair was busy over the three days and the calibre of visitor to our stand and others, from what I saw and heard, was excellent. The dollar, the change for the better in our offer (Australia) and a renewed interest in our wines is combining to give solid prospects.
We have now been to Prowein six times and this was the best. It is the premier fair in the Northern Hemisphere. Stuart (Barclay), Laura (Jewell) and all at Wine Australia who helped arrange it need a big thank you – they did a great job for the exhibitors. The attached photo shows me with a couple of Korean visitors looking to crank some trade off the back of the FTA. Don’t think I will eat schnitzel for a week or two.
